BIG RAPIDS – With social gatherings seemingly back to normal, based on the Governor’s Thursday announcement, the area Whitetails Unlimited banquet in Big Rapids for next week seems to be in full swing.
“This offers as many people as possible to go to the banquet,” event organizer Randy LaPreze said. “Anyone looking to purchase tickets should contact me this weekend, if at all possible, at (231) 349-1395.”

“We need to know as soon so we can to have the Eagles prepare the correct amount of food for the evening,” LaPreze said. “We would like to have as many people who can come, attend.”
The banquet is set for 5:30 p.m this Thursday, at the Eagles Club, Big Rapids.
“It’s kind of a coming out party after a year-plus of lockdowns,” LaPreze said. “Hopefully, it’s a great night for all.”
Auctions, silent auctions and other activities will be taking place.
