Sophomore bowler continues to improve
BALDWIN - Adam McClure is a versatile athlete at Baldwin and has been having success with the bowling team. He's a sophomore for coach Donn Slimmen's bowlers.
It's his second year of bowling.
"Things went good last year," McClure said. "But I wasn't as good as I am now. I've been here over the summer."
McClure kept working at it and was able to get in enough repetitions to get better at the game.
He's been strong at strikes.
"I have to work on my spares a lot," McClure said. "I just have to come in here and bowl and do better.
"The team is doing pretty good. I missed the last two meets because I was on vacation. We're pretty good right now."
McClure also plays football, basketball and baseball.
"Bowling is more fun than all the other sports," he said. "I like football and baseball a lot."
