Golf course official Doc Huzel said the Baldwin Rotary Club 36th annal golf outing is set for Sept. 8.

Rosters and entry fees can be sent to Baldwin Rotary, c/o Seth Wenger, PO Box 669, Baldwin, MI 49304.
Funds raised from donations go toward a variety of local community projects involving area children, seniors and artwork, including the world’s largest brown trout sculpture in Baldwin.
“We’ve got two more weeks of the ladies league,” Huzel said. “They play on Tuesday. They also play next Tuesday. You have three weeks left on the Wednesday men’s league The Thursday men’s league has two weeks left. We have the Rotary coming up. Seth Wenger does a good job of recruiting people. It’s been around a long time. Every Rotary club does one.”
It will be men’s, ladies and mixed format.

“People from all over come,” Huzel said. “We’re hoping for a good crowd.”
