BALDWIN —- School is out and coach Scott Pedigo already has basketball players involved in a summer program.

Pedigo indicated he had around 24 youngsters showing up Thursday with JV and varsity combined, during his basketball summer practices.

“I have a whole lot going on,” he said

Baldwin players will be working the courts this weekend at Ludington in the Gus Macker 3-on-3 tourney.

Next week, practices will continue, followed by the Grand Valley camp. Pedigo indicated additional camps are scheduled, including possibly one at Northwood University,

Pedigo said the camps will go until the end of June. Football coach Doug Bolles has mentioned in the past that he lets the basketball team do its schedule in June and then football will take over after that. Football practices officially start in early August.

Pedigo’s boys basketball team won the Class D district title last season and will go for both and district and conference title next season.
