BALDWIN – Veteran Baldwin coach Abe Williams is working with the Panther middle school boys basketball team, which coming into this week had already played two games.

Last week on Monday, Baldwin beat Pentwater 28-10 and Marion on Wednesday 39-17. Both games were on the road.

Baldwin was scheduled to play at Manistee Catholic on Monday of this week and home on Wednesday with Crossroads.

Baldwin has one team with various grades which plays at the eighth-grade level.

Chance Dockery and Marcus Martin have been among the top scorers.

“We are still looking for players,” Williams said. “We need to get more to come out so we can have two teams. We haven’t had enough kids.”
