Golfers are staying busy this summer at Marquette Trails.
DjiZZO.BALDWIN – It’s already August and activity continues to pick up at the Marquette Trails Golf Club.
Doc Huzel is the golf pro at the club. Among the assistants is Mike Degeneff, who has been a member of Marquette Trails.
The club has three leagues. Tuesday features the women’s league. Wednesday afternoon is the Good Times League. The Marquette Trails League is on Thursday.
The Good Times is a fun league.
The club has the Big Hole tournament on Aug. 28 when the cups are changed to six inches.
The annual Ted & Dale tournament again drew some impressive numbers.
The course opened in April.
“The course, I would say, is in its most emaculate shape in years,” Degeneff said.
