BALDWIN – Baldwin’s boys track and field team scored 12 points on April 20 in the West Michigan D League meet at Mason Country Eastern.

Carmelo Lindsey was forth in the 100-meter dash in 12.53 seconds. Jake Cutler was 13th (13.39).

“He didn’t have track shoes and it was first track meet,” Baldwin  coach Robert Watkins said. 

Lindsey was second in the long jump at 17-6. SJ Hossler was 10th in 14-9 ½ and Ethan Diaz 16th in 12-0.

For the girls, LejLa Haznedarevic was 11th in the shot put (23-6 ¼).

“Now they know the routine,” Watkins said of his athletes. 

The next meet was set for Marion of this week. The regionals will be May 21 at Brethren.
