BALDWIN - Tuesday night featured the second open house on the Range at the Lake County Sportsman Club.

Club president Len Todd said the open houses will continue every Tuesday this month 6-8 p.m.

Club board members John Beach and Bud Kloosterman were the hosts for the Tuesday open house.

At the open houses, "we show them the property, and they can shoot if they want," Kloosterman said. "All they have to do is sign a waiver."

"We are going to have these open houses as a trial run to see if they'll work," Beach said. "We might lean toward Saturday being better so people can come up over the weekend."

The club continues to have work bees to clean up the property. Beach and Kloosterman said club members are working on getting a building.

"Our fund-raising is going toward a building," Kloosterman said.

The clubhouse would include a kitchen and area for classes,

The club is also working on an archery range.
