Jackson leads Panthers to victory

Baldwin boys basketball improves to 5-0

BALDWIN – Louie Jackson scored 18 points to lead Baldwin (5-0) to a 66-28 West Michigan D League boys basketball win on Tuesday. It was 34-15 at halftime for Baldwin.

SJ Hossler had 13 points and Carmelo Lindsey 12 for Baldwin.

Rebounding has been a key role for Jackson.

“Boxing out and hustling” is a key to being a good rebounder,” Jackson said adding the key to being a good shooter “is practicing.”

The Panthers are playing well but need to keep improving on various aspects of their game, Jackson said.

He also played football last fall for the Panthers and said basketball is his favorite sport.

Baldwin will play at Mason County Eastern on Thursday.
