BALDWIN - Aveon Hobbs continues to have a strong season for Baldwin's football team.

Baldwin is 2-6 after losing 56-14 to Brethren on Friday. The Panthers play at Onekama on Friday to end the regular season.

Hobbs is a freshman running back.

"I have good speed and am good at reading the holes," he said. "We've had our ups and downs. But we've had a good year."

A highlight was beating Crossroads 34-14 on Oct. 11 for the Top Cat trophy.

Hobbs is a cornerback on defense.

"I'm good at defending the pass," he said.

Hobbs made it clear the Panthers want to end on a high note against Onekama.

We want to finish it out with the seniors," he said.
