BALDWIN — Dylan Hibma has established himself as a key player on the Baldwin junior various basketball team.

“We’ve learned to work as a team,” he said. “The Panthers have a winning record after their first seven games at 5-2.”

He plays center for coach Duane Roberts’ team. His height and boxing out ability makes Hibma effective.

“We’ve made a lot of progress,” he said. “I can work on passing the ball more. I’m working on blocking the ball and getting more rebounds.”

Baldwin is home on Jan. 4 against Mesick in league action.

The Panthers also have home games on Jan. 11 with Brethren, on Jan. 18 with Bear Lake and on Jan. 22 with Pentwater.
