BALDWIN —Darion Hayter is playing some key roles as a sophomore for Baldwin’s football team.

He’s a left offensive tackle and right defensive tackle. His goal is to hold his ground at each spot and be fast off his feet. He w

as confident on Friday, in the team’s opener with Grand Traverse, that he was able to sustain his block most of the time.

“I’ve improved a lot from last year,” he said. “That’s up to the coaches to determine.”

He points to defense as being his best spot but feels comfortable at both spots.

Hayter was impressed with his team’s performance in the 70-0 win over Grand Traverse. He’s confident the team can continue to have success.

The season continues this Friday at Bear Lake.
