Baldwin wins fourth straight bowling championship

BALDWIN — Call them conference champions again.

That championship tag applies to the Baldwin boys bowling team which won its fourth straight conference championship by winning the league tourney on Saturday.

“The boys had an excellent effort,” said Baldwin coach Nick Miller.

Tyler Shepler bowled a 233 game for Baldwin.

“The rest of the guys we got had solid efforts,” Miller said. “They bowled a little better than average. C.J. (Sidock) had a 200-plus game.”

Saturday’s tournament was for conference team scoring. This Saturday, Baldwin will bowl in the conference singles tournament.

Baldwin has been conference champs five of the last six seasons.

“I’ve been very fortunate having some very consistent bowlers,” Miller said.
