Baldwin senior bowler having strong season
BALDWIN -- Baldwin's David Kolenbrander and his bowling teammates are getting ready to defend their regional title on Feb. 29.
It's been a good career for Kolenbrander and a good season for he and his teammates.
It's Kolenbrander's senior season.
He's been bowling four years and indicated it's his best season.
"I owe a lot of that to my brother Ryan," Kolenbrander said. "He bowled last year and has four years of high school, plus my coach Donn (Slimmen). He pointed out where I need to stand or how to follow through or where I need to look."
He had a 189 this season.
"It's nothing to brag about but it's a good game," Kolenbrander said.
He's confident the Panthers can contend for a regional crown.
"We have a lot to work on and I think we can make it," he said.
He has done other sports in the past but is focusing on bowling this year.
