BALDWIN -- Baldwin's volleyball team went on the road on Thursday over Bear Lake and pulled out a 3-1 West Michigan D league victory.

Bear Lake won the first game 25-22.

"Following that, Baldwin's girls came back to win," Baldwin coach Duane Roberts said. "We had huge performances from all members of the team. Jenna Johnson took advantage of several balls that were basically set up over the net just for her and she attacked them right back down. She had quite a bit of kills.

"The winning kill goes to Abigail Oisten. She had the game-winning kill for the fourth game. Kendra Washington came through with serves and digs. Monique Rowland had some key blocks. We had some good saves from Cierra Pieske and Jenna Johnson. Savanna Bloom had some well-time serves. Aariona Burrell had some nice attacks. It was a good night for the team."
