Carpenter was a standout on the volleyball and bowling teams for Baldwin. She went to the state finals in bowling.
Lindsey played three sports for Baldwin. He was first-team all-conference in West Michigan D League football and was the most explosive player on the team. He also played defensive back.
For the basketball team, Lindsey also was all-conference and was all-State honorable mention. He averaged 20 points, eight rebounds, five steals and 3.5 assists per game. He was also first-team BCAM.
Lindsey had a triple double vs Brethren, with 38 points, 15 rebounds and 12 steals.
“We were down 15 in the second quarter and he helped us come back and win a key game when we were struggling,” Eads said. “He is one of our leaders that guided us to an 18-5 record despite losing four seniors that contribute a lot and three guys that transferred. He is our best player who plays well on both sides of the ball.”
Lindsey also had a standout season in track and field as a long jumper and sprinter.
