BALDWIN - Baldwin varsity volleyball coach Duane Roberts and his team are now preparing for the Division 4 district tournament, which starts on Monday at Crossroads Charter Academy in Big Rapids.

The Panthers have ended their regular season, although they were slated to play at Marion this week in a scrimmage.

Marion and Crossroads were scheduled to partake in the scrimmage.

The Panthers drew a first-round bye in the district. They will play Crossroads in Wednesday's semifinal district match. The winner plays in the title game on Thursday. The district champion will advance to the reginal.

The Panthers have had a competitive team this season, led by senior Jenna Johnson and juniors Monique Rowland and Kendra Washington, plus sophomores Savana Bloom, Angelica VanderGeld and Cierra Pieske.

Baldwin has a JV team but has been using various freshmen including Aeriona Burrell and Abby Oisten on this year's squad.
