BALDWIN - Darrion Hayter continues to give Baldwin's football team solid contributions on both sides of the ball.

He's a left tackle on defense and right tackle on offense.

"I think I'm stronger on defense," Hayter said.

The 34-14 win over Crossroads Charter Academy on Friday for the 2019 Top Cat Trophy championship was among the best games the team has played his year, Hayter indicated.

"We did pretty good on offense and defense, against Crossroads," he said. "The line did a good job of opening the holes."

Hayter has been with Baldwin four varsity seasons and acknowledged winning the Crossroads game is a big one for his team.

"It was a normal game for me," he said.

"We will hopefully get a W against Onekama and Brethren."

The Panthers close the home season on Friday with Brethren and end the regular season on Oct. 25 at Onekama.

In the win over Crossroads, "I think our offense was better," Hayter said.
