BALDWIN – Naomi Marsh-Robinson will be working hard on her volleyball skills at Baldwin this season.

Marsh-Robinson was among the several volleyball players in coach Duane Roberts’ two-week summer camp which ended last week.

She will be a junior this season. She’s a setter.

“I like that I give people opportunities to give us points during games,” she said.

Marsh-Robinson said she is working on where to set the ball for her hitters.

“I’m working on it but I normally know where to set the ball,” she said.

She is also working on her attacks and knowing how and where to hit the ball.

“The key is jumping and getting up to the ball,” Marsh-Robinson said.

Summer gatherings have been very helpful, she said.

“If you don’t practice during the summer, you’ll get pretty rusty,” Marsh-Robinson said.
