BALDWIN - Amber Oisten is in her junior season for Baldwin's volleyball squad and in her third varsity year and expects to be a key contributor for the Panthers.

She'll be mostly an outsider hitter which she was a year ago.

"My strength is being able to get to the ball quick and hitting it deep," she said. "I'll be serving too. I have a quick serve."

As for the team, "I think we're doing pretty good," Oisten said. "We should have a solid team again this year. We have hitting and defense and, all together, a good team."

Baldwin will be home on Tuesday against Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart to open the season.
