Panther girls finish season at 5-2

BALDWIN -- The Baldwin junior high hirls team won the WMD 8th Grade Girls League Tournament on Saturday, Feb.19.

Baldwin defeated Walkerville in the first game 28-24. The Panthers were led in scoring by Khloe Toliver with 11, Ra'Kyah Smith with six, and Monica Perfitt and Nyla Robinson each with four points.

The Championship game against host MCE was a close defensive battle with a final score of 18-15. 

Ra'Kyah Smith was the leading scorer with nine points including a 3-pointer. Khloe Toliver scored five and Nyla Robinson scored five. The Panthers finished the season with a record of 5-2.
