Baldwin junior high basketball teams remain active

BALDWIN — While the Baldwin girls and boys basketball teams gear up for the regular season in December, the junior high boys are well into the swing of things.

Former Panther basketball player Cregg Bolles is coaching both the seventh and eighth grade squads.

This month, the Panthers have had a home game with Pentwater and a jamboree at Pentwater. They were then on the road at Walkerville, Pentwater and Crossroads. The last two days have been home games with Muskegon Heights and Crossroads.

Coming up are home games Nov. 30 with Walkerville and Dec. 2 with Mason County Eastern. That will be followed by road trips Dec. 7 at MCE and Dec. 9 at Muskegon Heights. The conference tournament is Dec. 12 at MCE.

Top players for Baldwin have included Ravaughn Steel and Brad Taylor.

Girls basketball junior high games will take over in January and February.
