BALDWIN — Baldwin’s girls basketball team is resting up during the holiday break while preparing for the January part of the schedule.

The Panthers are 0-4 overall and 0-4 in the West Michigan D League.

Their most recent game was Friday night at Mason County Eastern where they lost 69-24. They have previously lost at home 52-11 to Brethren, 49-9 to Pentwater and 46-25 to Bear Lake.

Bear Lake is leading the West Michigan D League standings at 3-0 along with Pentwater, followed by Mason County Eastern at 3-1, Brethren at 2-1, Crossroads and Manistee Catholic Central at 1-2, Walkerville at 0-3 and Baldwin at 0-4. Bear Lake and MCE are both 4-1 in overall records. Pentwater and Brethren are both 3-2. Crossroads with 2-2, Walkerville 2-3 and Manistee Catholic Central 1-4.

Baldwin is home on Jan. 6 against CCA and also is home on Jan. 10 for a non-league game against Ellington Academy of Arts and Technology The Panthers then have road games at Walkerville on Jan. 13 and at Muskegon Heights Academy on Jan. 17.

Included on the Baldwin roster for the Pentwater game were seniors Jayna Hawkins, Marissa Wroblewski and Marlena Wroblewski; juniors Myah Lewis, Allene See and Mariah Sowle and freshmen Alyssa Banard, Jenna Johnson and Taliyah Lewis.
