Baldwin girls coach resigns

BALDWIN – Baldwin athletic director JJ Eads has announced Nikki Bergman has resigned from all of her girls coaching positions at the school.

Bergman most recently has been middle school girls basketball and middle school volleyball coach. She has been at the school three seasons. Eads said she is still on the teaching staff.

She was also technically varsity basketball coach. Baldwin did not have enough numbers for a program for 2018-19. Bergman came the following year and coached a JV team. She was scheduled to coach a varsity team for 2020-21 but the start of the season was delayed because of COVID and not enough numbers returned when the season came back.

There were not enough numbers for a 2021-22 girls high school team. No announcement has been made on a coaching replacement for Bergman.
