File photoBALDWIN – Baldwin fell to 0-5 with Friday’s 50-19 loss at Brethren.
The Panthers are scheduled to have their final home game on Friday with Bear Lake.
The game with Brethren was close at halftime.
“We started out playing good in the first half, taking care of the ball,” quarterback Carmelo Lindsey said. “Things (went the other way) in the second half.”
Lindsey, Jalen’e Allen and Louie Jackson scored touchdowns for the Panthers. Lindsey threw a TD pass of 30 yards to Jackson.
Baldwin trailed 30-19 at halftime.
“I’m having a pretty good season,” Lindsey said. “It’s getting better. I’m passing better. It’s been an improvement.”
The Panthers have been having problems stopping other teams from scoring.
“We’ll be working on it in practice to do a better job of tackling,” Lindsey said.
