BALDWIN — Louie Jackson had fun during Baldwin’s 8-man football season. He’s also hoping to have fun in upcoming weeks.

For the Panthers, Jackson was among the top players. He played wide receiver and also on defense where he had four sacks.

He was a sophomore this season and will be among the key returning players.

Jackson played a key role on a Baldwin team which finished 2-5 and won its last two games. The Panthers struggled for players early in the season and wound up with 18.

Having this number of players made it very helpful,” he said.

Jackson’s main sport is basketball and he’s looking forward to the season which begins with practices Nov. 21.

“We should be really good in basketball,” Jackson said.

The season opens Dec. 5 at Hesperia.
