Baldwin football players selected to all-star game
BALDWIN — Three Baldwin football players have been selected to the West Michigan All-Star game, coach Bob Watkins announced on Monday
Armando Jennings as a tight end, Ahmad Goram as a running back and Lance Donald as an offensive linemen were selected. All three are seniors
The game is on June 16 at Muskegon Oakridge High School.
“It’s more of a region this side-of-the state type of game,” Watkins said. “The statewide one will be at Saginaw this year. This one is only for the west Michigan area.
“Baldwin plays 8-player football, but this will be an 11-man football game,” Watkins said. “Players were nominated for the team, Watkins said, and will attend a draft on May 6. Both coaches will select a player for his respective team.
There’s a chance the Baldwin players would be drafted onto separate teams, Watkins said.
