Baldwin boys bowling team continues to shine

BALDWIN – Coach Nick Miller likes the way his Baldwin boys bowling team has been performing in recent weeks.

Last Saturday, Baldwin did not have an actual opponent but bowled against a ghost team and had a score of 929. C.J. Sidock led the way with scores of 194 and 178.

Also for Baldwin, Patrick Rogers bowled games of 203 and 194 while Cameron Wroblewski had a 181 for one of his games and Josh Richards bowled a 184.

“Overall, we’re in first place and just had the one loss when we were short of bowlers,” Miller said. “Other than that, we’ve had a really good year.”

The Panthers will bowl at Mason County Eastern on Saturday. By the end of February, they’ll be competing in regional action at Northway Lanes, Muskegon, with hopes of advancing to the state finals.

The Division 4 state finals are March 2-3 at Sunnybrook Lanes at Sterling Heights.
