Baldwin boys basketball team beats Hesperia

BALDWIN -- Baldwin opened its season on Monday with a 64-36 nonleague win boys basketball win at Hesperia. The Panthers led 32-13 at halftime.

"We played really well the second and third quarters," JJ Eads, Baldwin coach, said. 

Carmelo Lindsey had 24 points and SJ Hossler had 17 points for Baldwin.

Baldwin plays at Marion on Thursday to open the West Michigan D League season.

Next week, the Panthers have league games at Manistee Catholic Central on Tuesday and at home on Thursday (Dec. 15) with Big Rapids Crossroads   with a 7:30 p.m. game. For the boys, it will be varsity only, preceded by the girls game.

Prior to the holiday break, Baldwin will host White Cloud on Dec. 19 in nonleague play.
