Baldwin bowling center hoping to open soon

BALDWIN – The Baldwin Bowling Center remains closed.

Owner Nick Miller had been hoping to open last week but the order from the state was extended to Feb. 1. Bowling centers still can’t serve food or drinks.

Miller said he hopes to open Feb. 1.

“I’m hoping it doesn’t get extended but (Governor Whitmer) left it open that it could get extended again,” he said. “I’m not putting out any opening dates until further notice.”

Miller said he’s not sure what will be going on with the Baldwin Bowling League.

Miller had two leagues going until the lanes were closed down in November. He had a Tuesday morning ladies league and a men’s night league. The numbers have been down, he indicated.
