BALDWIN – Baldwin’s bowling season starts this Saturday and coach Duane Roberts has some impressive numbers.

Baldwin will have a JV and varsity team for the boys and a varsity squad for the girls. There are 11 boys and five girls in the program.

Practices have started at the Baldwin Bowling Center. The first competition will be this Saturday at Scottville. It will be a West Central Michigan Conference meet.

Jesse Pancio is the returning captain for the boys and went to state competition last year. Remington Owen is also back this season along with Jalik Hawkins and Adam McClure Joe Demos and Michael Calendar. Junior Jake Cutler is also on the team.

Isabella King and Daisy and Krista Simmons, plus Naomi Marsh and Willow Gardner, are the girl bowlers.

The boys have a strong chance for conference championship honors again this year Roberts indicated. Getting a regional trophy is also a possibility, he added.
