Baldwin bowlers home this weekend

BALDWIN — Baldwin bowling teams are hoping to enjoy the home lanes advantage this week.

The Panthers will be home in conference action. Bowling starts at 11 a.m.

The Baldwin A team continues to have a strong season, Players have been DeMarko Williams, Kendall Phillips, Darrin Thomas, Ryan Kolenbrander and Tyler Clugston.

“They’ve all been bowling well,” coach Samantha Curtis said.

Mason County Central has been a formidable opponent for Baldwin this season and will be in the Panthers’ district. Curtis indicated team districts will be in Baldwin next month.

Veteran bowler Rosie Lemieux has been leading the way for the Baldwin girls along with Jasmine Jewitt. This weekend also will see a full Baldwin girls team for the first time this season, Curtis said. A full team consists of five players.
