BALDWIN — Baldwin coach Rob Atwood is getting his team ready to open the season which is set for Friday at Buckley, followed a home game on April 16 with Pentwater.

Atwood had five to seven players during the intersession.

“Some students are on vacation or out of town,” Atwood said.

Darrin Thomas is set at third base, DeMarko Williams at second base, Dexter Hossler at shortstop, Spencer Sabin a first base and Derrick Hossler in center field, Ian Lemeiux in left field, and Logan Theisen in right field

“As of right now, we have two new players, but the others played last year,” Atwood said. “I have experience but no seniors.”’

The Panthers have been inside for practice and are anxious to get outdoors and have more in depth baseball workouts, especially in catching flyballs.
