Baldwin baseball team eyes more victories

BALDWIN — Baldwin’s baseball team is getting ready for a busy stretch of games.

Last Thursday Baldwin lost to Onekama 22-10 and 14-4.

Devon Burrell in the second game had his first career home run.

“Once again, we just don’t have arms,” said Baldwin coach Doug Bolles.

Burrell and Brandon Avery pitched for Baldwin.

On Thursday, Baldwin is at Custer Mason County Eastern. Next week, Baldwin is home Monday with Crossroads Charter Academy and Wednesday with McBain Northern Michigan Christian. NMC is a non-league opponent. The other games will be West Michigan D League action.
