BALDWIN – Baldwin’s junior varsity boys basketball team is off to a 1-2 start as it heads into the holiday break.

Among the JV players is Khyrstyne Wilson who said his team needs to work on passing the ball and penetrating in the paint.

Tyler Kempf is coaching the team.

We have a lot of five quarter kids going back and forth between the JV and varsity,” he said. “The kids who don’t have a lot of experience playing organized ball, we want to give them as many minutes as we can, even if it’s on the JV. It’s about getting them game experience. We’re trying to have them get a feel for what’s going on.”

Other players are Brendon Jencks, Avery Shooks, Michael Cavender, Konnor Gorman, Louie Jackson, DJ  Baldrige Jordan Gorman, Dante Rogers and BJ Flowers.
