BALDWIN – Kelly Zoellner of the Lake County Sportsman Club said  the targets for the archery range have been put up. There are bag targets and block targets. The back stops are still being foam filled.

“The power is back to the archery pavilion now, which includes lights in the pavilion. They also extended power over to the second pistol range,” Zoellner said. “As you know, the season is turning colder. There has been some put away for the season like the picnic tables stacked up. The sleds are still on the rifle range for the sight-in day on Nov. 5. The time is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., open to the general public. There will be snacks and water available.

“Upcoming for the month of November, nominations are being accepted for positions on the board. The terms are up at the end of December for vice president, treasurer, and two trustee positions.  Nominations are being accepted now until the November meeting.”

Zoellner said anyone interested should contact her or Harold Nichols.

“At the November meeting, the positions will be posted for all members to review the nominees. And then at the December meeting we vote,” Zoellner said. “It is a great way to get acquainted with the Club and become more involved. If you would like to be a part of the team, submit your name or another's.”
