BALDWIN \u2014 Rick Delamater realizes that as president of the Lake County Sportman\u2019s Club the area never takes a breather from the outdoor scene. Delamater, also owner of the Outdoor Inn at Baldwin, noted that a recent weekend was busy. \u201cUntil school lets out, it\u2019s kind of sluggish,\u201d he said. \u201cNow all of a sudden, it\u2019s going great guns, a little faster than we thought even.\u201d Delamater noted that brown trout fishermen have been staying active Troutarama later this month will also pick up some major numbers, he added. The next meeting of the sportsman club will be 10 a.m. this Saturday at the Pleasant Plains Township Hall in Baldwin. All club members and interested individuals are encouraged to attend. \u201cThe township (recently) was supposed to review our lease submitted for the property,\u201d Delamater said. \u201cThey need to approve it to send it to a lawyer,\u201d The lease is for property for a sportsman club area by the airport. The club is looking to able to set up archery ranges and eventually have gun shooting ranges.
