An iconic license plate design is back to stay this holiday season. And it's a Michigander favorite.
The iconic blue Water-Winter Wonderland plate has been requested by motorists and collectors for years, per a press release issued by Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson's office.

You can take a nostalgic trip down memory lane and celebrate Michigan's four-seasons appeal by purchasing the license plate.

"In 1965, we worked together as a nation to protect and advance voting rights in pursuit of a more perfect union, just as today we must come together as a nonpartisan, pro-democracy coalition to protect and advance our elections," Benson said in the release.
You can take a nostalgic trip down memory lane and celebrate Michigan's four-seasons appeal by purchasing the license plate. While the 1965 Water-Winter Wonderland plate was among the first plates made of galvanized steel, today's Water-Winter Wonderland plate is rust-resistant aluminum, tamper-proof and easily identifiable.
Motorists can order the plate for a one-time fee of $5 (in addition to any other registration or fees that may apply). It is available for non-commercial vehicles and is also offered in disability and personalized versions, according to michigan.gov.
To purchase a plate by mail or fax, complete and print the Water-Winter Wonderland license plate order form.

Note: Personalization of the plate is available, though limited to 6 digits due to the font style and size accompanying the vintage reissue.
