Patricia “Pat” Bromley
Patricia “Pat” Bromley, 75, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away March 26, 2015, in Grand Rapids.
She was born in Ludington on March 14, 1940. Pat was the magistrate for the Lake County Court System for 30 years, retiring in 1997. She enjoyed camping and spending the winter months in Florida. She was a regular donor of dolls to the Baldwin Human Services Christmas Program. She was a life member of both the Eastern Star and the Baldwin Congregational Church.
Bromley was preceded in death by her parents, Kurt and Alene (Ebmeyer) Kahl and a grand-daughter, Julia Bromley. She is survived by her husband, of over 55 years, Gerald Bromley Sr.; children, Tracy Merbs, Gerald (Karen) Bromley Jr., Todd (Tammy) Bromley, and Patrick (Erica) Bromley; 13 grandchildren;and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on April 17, 2015 at the Baldwin Congregational Church; Rev. Bruce Whitney will officiate. There will be visitation at the church from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service; burial will follow in the Pleasant Plains Twp. Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Baldwin Congregational Church or Lake County Historical Society.
