WEST CENTRAL MICHIGAN — It’s been said the youth is the future, but someone forgot to tell these young people. Young and ambitious, they are shaping the future now.

Michigan Works!-West Central is looking for nominations for the top 20 professionals under the age of 30. From now until 11 p.m. April 8, nominations will be taken for young professions in Mecosta, Osceola, Lake, Newaygo, Oceana and Mason counties who are excelling in their respective field. Voting will start at midnight April 12 to find the top 20. An upcoming special section will highlight the individuals.

  • trucking/travel drivers;
  • construction;
  • medical/health care;
  • electrician;
  • technology;
  • finance/banking;
  • education;
  • hospitality;
  • civil/public service;
  • food service;
  • nonprofit/volunteer/philanthropy;
