BALDWIN — Baldwin Community Schools is excited to introduce the community to Jennifer Vidak, assistant superintendent of business services.

Jennifer Vidak joined the district in February, replacing David Forrester, after the Board of Education hired him as superintendent. Vidak oversees finances, human resources, technology, transportation and food services for Baldwin Community Schools.

“Jennifer is a great addition to our team as we work together to make positive changes for our students, staff, and community,” Forrester said. “Jennifer brings valuable experience and an expertise in creating systems and processes. Her passion for helping our staff and students will make a profound, lasting impact.”

Vidak, who grew up in the Ludington area, has a bachelor of business administration in accounting from Saginaw Valley State University. She has worked in education for the past nine years. Prior to joining Baldwin Community Schools, she served as the director of finance for Mecosta-Osceola Intermediate School District and previous to that, worked as the business services coordinator for West Shore Educational Service District.

“I take great pride in using my skills and experience to maximize district finances and support our staff with the ultimate goal of helping our students grow and achieve,” Vidak said. “I have been working on developing relationships and improving district processes and efficiencies to support academic excellence.”

Baldwin Community Schools has a proven track record of fiscal responsibility. Vidak will help maintain the district’s reputation as a strong steward of school resources and use those resources to help create a positive learning environment for all students.
