Camp Albright and Event Center will host a "Community Fall Festival" from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday and from 3 to 9 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 28 & 29.

The Village of Luther will host a "Community Awareness Night" from 5 to 8 p.m., Oct. 28, at the Luther Lion’s Club Hall. Several community organizations will be on hand to share information about recreation, social and religious functions, sporting opportunities resources, and other events. Food will be provided. Crossroads Recreation Connection of Reed City and Folkal Point Trails will host a Youth Oxford Bike Race at 10 a.m., Oct. 29, at the CRC Bike Park, Westerburg Park, Reed City. Bikes will be given away as prizes. For more information call 207-520-0492.

Kiddies Klubhouse in Reed City will host "Halloween in the Park" from 2:30 to 4 p.m., Oct. 29, at Westerburg Park in Reed City. The event will include trick-or-treating, ponies, hot cocoa, popcorn and music.

The Reed City Chamber of Commerce will host a "Halloween Spectacular" from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and a "Halloween Block Party" from 5 to 8 p.m., Oct. 29, in downtown Reed City. 

The Lake County Knights of Columbus will host a "Halloween Trunk-or-Treat" from 2 to 5 p.m., Oct. 30, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1001 Michigan Ave., Baldwin. Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available. Treats will be given out to kids. All vehicles participating in the trunk-or-treat can participate in the “best decorated vehicle” contest. The Pathfinder Community Library in Baldwin will host a “Pretty Cool Pumpkins” event from 5 to 7 p.m., Oct. 31, at the library, 812 Michigan Ave., Baldwin. Free pumpkins and goody bags will be given out to attendees. For more information call 231-745-4010.

Sauble Township will host a “Halloween Trunk-or-Treat from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Oct. 29, at the Lindley Park Pavilion. Along with trunk-or-treating, there will be popcorn, donuts and cider.

The S & K Haunted Trail 20th Anniversary weekend event will be at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 29, at Shawn Coffey’s house, 7450 S. Coffey Ave., Idlewild. Free hot dogs and hot cocoa will be available. Candy will be given out to children. Trail starts at dark.

The Lake County Community Collaborative will host a "Halloween Trunk-or-Treat" from 4 to 5:30 p.m., Oct. 31, at Baldwin High School, 525 4th St., Baldwin.

The Reed City Area Ministerial Association Coat Pantry is open from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., each Wednesday through the winter season at Reed City United Methodist Church, 503 S. Chestnut St., Reed City. For more information call 231-250-2790.

The Salvation Army of Big Rapids has opened a Fresh Start Baby Pantry for families with children under age 5 in Mecosta, Osceola, Lake and Newaygo counties. Hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information visit sabigrapids.org.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5315 hosts Bar Bingo every Wednesday beginning at 3:30 p.m. and Queen of Hearts drawing at 5 p.m. Public is welcome at the post, 2225 S M-37, Baldwin. For more information call 231-745-2134.

The Luther Lions Club will host an all you can eat breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m., the first Sunday of every month. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 6 to 12. Breakfast will include biscuits and gravy, ham, sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, French toast, pancakes, orange juice and coffee.

The Duane E. Dewey AMVETS Post 1988 hosts Euchre at 1 p.m., every Monday, at the AMVETS hall, 1959 W. 24th St., Baldwin. For more information call 231- 745-2550.
