•    Baldwin Summer Concerts will host The Paul Nelson Band, from 7 to 9:15 p.m., Aug. 20, and Serita’s Black Rose, Serita Cowley, from 7 to 9:15 p.m., Aug. 24, at the Wenger Pavilion in Baldwin. For more information visit baldwinsummerconcerts.org.

•    Granny’s Craft Show will host a Summer Sizzler Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 20 at 139 W. Church Street, Reed City, part of the annual Great American Crossroads Celebration.

•    The 2022 Great American Crossroads Celebration will take place Thursday, Aug. 18 through Saturday, Aug. 20, in downtown Reed City. •    Voca Lyrica will host a citywide rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Aug. 20 in the Big Rapids City Hall parking lot, 226 Michigan Ave., part of the Big Rapids Summerfest 2022.

•     Big Rapids Summerfest 2022 will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aug. 20, in downtown Big Rapids. The event will include a car show, live music, inflatable and other activities. For more information visit bigrapids.org.

•    The Evart Farmers Market will host Elvis Tribute Artist, Jake Slater, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Aug. 20, at the Evart Depot, 200 S. Main St., Evart.

•    MSU Extension and 4-H invite all youth for fun and free activities at 1p.m., every Wednesday through Aug. 24, at Wenger’s Pavilion behind Jone’s Ice Cream in Baldwin.

•    Luther Lion’s Club will host an all you can eat dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Aug. 24. Dinner includes pork chops, baked potato, vegetable, salad and dessert. Coffee, tea and lemonade provided. Cost is $12 for adults and children over 12, $6 for children 6-12 and free under 6.

•    The Grand Oaks Nursing Center 1st Annual Cruz In Car Show will be from 8:30 to 11:45 a.m., Aug. 25, at the center in Baldwin. Lunch will be provided. Residents will vote on top three cars. Call 231-745-4648 to reserve a spot.

•    Saturdays at the Depot will host ventriloquist Richard Paul at 7 p.m., Aug. 27, at the Reed City Depot. 

•    The Salvation Army of Big Rapids has opened a Fresh Start Baby Pantry for families with children under age 5 in Mecosta, Osceola, Lake and Newaygo counties. Hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information visit sabigrapids.org.

•    The Evart Fire Department is hosting an Emergency Medical Responder Course from Sept. 8 through Nov. 12 at the Evart Fire Station, 109 E. Sixth St., Evart. Cost is $500. Registration deadline is August 19. For questions or to register contact s.hemler@evartfd.com.

•    The Luther Lions Club will host an all you can eat breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m., the first Sunday of every month. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 6 to 12. Breakfast will include biscuits and gravy, ham, sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, French toast, pancakes, orange juice and coffee.

•    The Duane E. Dewey AMVETS Post 1988 hosts Euchre at 1 p.m., every Monday, at the AMVETS hall, 1959 W. 24th St., Baldwin. For more information call 231- 745-2550.
