LCSO Charitable Campaign donates $1,000 to River Community Center at Lake Fellowship Ministries

Ongoing campaign continues to support local nonprofits

LAKE COUNTY — Lake County Sheriff Rich Martin presented a check for $1,000 to the River Community Center at Lake Fellowship Ministries for the purchase of a pool table recently.

“It was a privilege to issue out a check today from our charity campaigns,” Sheriff Martin said. “Thanks to Jeff Dietz from Tight Pockets Billards and Pool Table Installation for the moving and installation.”

The donation is part of the ongoing LCSO charitable campaign, which includes the Sheriff's Returnables for Charity, the Blessing of the Bikes Shirt Drive, the Special Cause Sheriff Patch Drive, the Challenge Coin Sales and the No Shave/Beard Campaign.

The campaign has given donations totaling over $50,700 to over 42 local nonprofits to date.
