If you recently purchased Kool-Aid Tropical Punch mix, check the date on the packaging.

It could have very small pieces of metal or glass within the contents of the drink powder.

KraftHeinz, the parent company of Kool-Aid, and the FDA have announced the recall with "Best When Used By" dates of 2023-08-31 and 2023-09-01. The date is located at the bottom of the container.

In a letter to its members, Costco is advising those who purchased the contaminated Kool-Aid to not use it and return it to their local store for a full refund. The advice is also extended to other consumers who purchased the popular drink at other grocery stores. Stater Brothers Markets also put out a notice to its customers.

Customers can also contact KraftHeniz's consumer relations department at 855-713-9237 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST with any issues or concerns.
