Ilah C. Johnson, 83, died April 6, 2015 at the Lenawee Medical Care Facility in Adrian, Mich. She was born September 12, 1931 in Morenci to the late Roy and Deborah (Markel) Livingston. She graduated from Morenci High School in the Class of 1949. She married Richard Johnson on September 18, 1954 in Angola, Ind. and he preceded her in death.

Ilah was a former member of the Lions Club in Baldwin. She volunteered for over 30 years at the Thrift Center in Baldwin. She enjoyed sewing and cooking, watching Michigan Football, the Detroit Tigers and Nascar. She faithfully attended the Grace Lutheran Church in Baldwin.

Surviving are four daughters, Barbara A. Parker of Morenci, Cynthia L. Kennedy of Cheboygan, MI, Mary L. (Ronald) Walworth of Hudson and Patricia S. (Raymond) Youtzy of Fayette,OH., two sons, James L. (Susan) Johnson of Morenci and David M. (Phyllis)Johnson of Fayette, OH.; two brothers, Allen (Janet) Livingston of Morenci and Lynn (Marlene) Livingston of Adrian;18 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Livingston, a son-in-law David Parker, and a great-grandson Shelby Youtzy.

A funeral service for Ilah Johnson will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 10, at the Eagle Funeral Home- Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci, with Pastor Jerry Hoffman officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 9. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci.
