Ila Mae Fullerton


Ila Mae Fullerton, 68, of Luther passed away at her home, Friday August 16, 2013. Ila was born January 20, 1945, in Bitely, Michigan , to Marshall and Letha (Peterson) Wilkinson.

Ila has lived in the Luther area for the past 10 years, moving from Bitley. She liked to read, crochet and especially liked to play cribbage. She was a seven year cancer survivor.

Ila is survived by her husband, Ronald Fullerton of Luther; son, Ronald Jr. of Luther, daughter, DeAnna (Doug) Wolgamott of Bitely, son, Rusty Allen of Lucus, and Thomas of Idlewild; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Cal (Deb) Wilkinson, Herb (Florence) Wilkinson, Terry (Carol) Wilkinson, Darrold (Fran) Wilkinson, and Daniel (Vonnie) Wilkinson all of Bitely, sisters, Pamela (Ken) Reid of Luther, Charlene Rothig of Luther, and Aloha (Skip) Burkett of Big Rapids. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Ila was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Marva Scherer, Lola Purquett, brothers, Donald Wilkinson, Robert Wilkinson and Cecil Wilkinson.

A memorial service for Ila will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Bitely community building with Rev. Kenneth Lyons officiating.
