Caleb Joseph Heath

Caleb Joseph Heath, 22, of Hersey, Michigan, died following a car accident east of Dorr, on Saturday, July 12, 2014.

Caleb graduated from Reed City High School and attended Ferris State University.

He loved to travel with his Grandma Nana, Cathy Jo Drilling Heath, and accompanied her on trips to Beijing, China, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales.

Caleb was bigger than life and the life of the party. His ADHD could drive you crazy and make you laugh yourself silly. He had a wonderful sense of humor, was a goofy kid who had many friends, and yet was very sensitive and insightful. His heart was big and his hugs were many and warm.

He is survived by his dad, Joey (Heidi) Heath, of Rockford,  mom, Missy (Troy) Sprague, of Hersey, brothers Mason and Levi of Grand Rapids,  Kyle of Hersey and four step-brothers and sisters.  He is also survived by his grandparents,  Cathy Jo Drilling Heath, of Grand Rapids, Dave and Karen Heath, of Irons, and Ralph and Phyllis Willis, of Hersey. He also enjoyed a very special relationship with his Uncle Matt Heath, Aunt Kim, cousins Christian and Jada, who were like his brother and sister, of Grand Rapids.  He was lucky to have many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends in his life who loved him.

A memorial gathering has been scheduled in Caleb’s memory for  Sunday, August 3, which would have been his 23rd birthday,  at 1 p.m. at “The River,” 6034 East Deer Path Road in Evart.

Memorial contributions on his behalf may be made to any place that is fun and makes you laugh.

If you would like to send a card to Joey, his address is 6064 Blythefield NE, Rockford, MI 49341
