BALDWIN — Bread of Life Food Pantry has had a busy month with many local organizations contributing to its mission.
"There are many great things happening to help our neighbors," director Lynne Mills said.
On April 27, Spectrum Health with the Grand Rapids YMCA delivered 100 bags of fresh produce as a final piece to a grant they received to help struggling areas like Lake County.
Also on April 27, Baldwin community Schools drama club collected food items as admission to their play, "Eat Like a Child," which were donated to the Pantry.
On May 11, St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Grand Rapids came on a mission trip to help those in need, assisting with handing out shopping lists to those visiting the Bread of Life Pantry.
The pantry is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Wednesday. The new contact number is 231-287-4869.
