BALDWIN — The Baldwin downtown merchants Christmas/Holiday Open House will kick off with a Christmas Parade at 5:30 p.m., Dec. 2, starting at the US Forest Service building and proceeding north to the Lake County Courthouse.

The Village of Baldwin Christmas tree lighting and a Community Carol Sing-a-long will immediately follow the parade at the Brown Trout Sculpture area.

Prior to the start of the parade, the Lake Osceola State Bank will host “Photos with Santa” from 3 to 5 p.m. Other activities are in the planning stages.

Local businesses are encouraged to stay open late on Friday night and participate in the Open House on Saturday, Dec. 3. Residents, local organizations, and local businesses are invited to participate in the parade.
